Mayweather Promotions approved by the NAC for Aug. 26

On Wednesday, Mayweather Promotions got an approval for an August 26th date in Las Vegas by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC), but it doesn’t assure that a fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor is going to take place. The fight is likely to be held at the T-mobile Arena in Las Vegas, but as of now nothing regarding that has been confirmed to NAC executive director Bob Bennett. Bob confirmed that none of the fighters are currently licensed to the box in Nevada. No documents have been received from the promoters to be approved. McGregor is yet to complete his boxing license application and also provide a documentation confirming his 20 hours of community service from a disciplinary sanction in 2016 to the NAC, but that doesn’t stop the fight from happening if one has to take place.
