Vitor Belfort’s UFC deal won’t end at UFC 212
Victor Belfort is known to have one more match in his present UFC deal.
Victor Belfort’s current loss to Kelvin Gastelum has led to reports claiming that he expects to fight one last match in his deal with UFC in a press conference post fight.So likewise, It turns out that Vitor Belfort’s coming fixture Nate Marquardt wouldn’t be his last match in the deal. However, Combate (a Brazilian website) told that Belfort still has one more fight left after his face off against Nate.
After he faced three consecutive losses, his loss was changed to a no contest as he tested positive for marijuana. He has claimed that after numerous surgeries, his body can’t take anymore, so he wishes to end his professional fighting career thus apologising to his fellow country mates, but he wishes to continue to fight after UFC 212.
Featherweight Champion Megan Anderson to fight under Invicta FC 24
Megan Anderson will have her next fight under the Invicta FC banner.
She is set to defend her title against Helena Kolesnyk in Invicta FC 24’s main event on July 15. This throwdown is about to be held at the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City. She claimed her Invicta’s interim featherweight champion title after she defeated Charmaine Cris “Cyborg” Justino, then-champion vacated her title in March to get a career in UFC, she was named Invicta’s official 145-pound champion
Anderson and Cyborg have been campaigning aggressively since then to fight in the UFC against each other, but Anderson wasn’t chosen to be signed by the UFC. The UFC officials think of keeping her fight with Cat Zingano later on as she isn’t booked still yet.
Kolesnyk is reported to make her Invicta debut, and she is currently the eighth best featherweight in the world, while Anderson is ranked fourth, and has won her last four fights in a row.
